There are so many wonderful places to visit many of which are within walking distance of Pendower House. In fact it is perfectly possible to explore the area on foot and spend a week without having to drive anywhere.
NEWLYN
Newlyn is a pretty harbour town with one of the largest fishing fleets in the country. It is fascinating to walk along the piers and watch the trawlers preparing to go to sea or landing their catch. The busy fish market begins trading in the early morning and fish is supplied to all the shops along the front. |
The colour of the harbour is extraordinary. With sailing boats, old luggers and smaller fishing vessels it is an artist's paradise.
PENZANCE AND MARAZION

The flat coastal path continues at sea level to Marazion where the iconic St Michael's Mount dominates. The long beaches, pretty market town and beautiful scenery beckon daily visits.
